Hello! I’m Alexander Savelyev.

I am a cartographer and a visual data scientist.

I got my PhD in geographic data visualization from Penn State, working with Alan MacEachren. My work is focused on cartography, visual analytics (combining advanced visualization and computational tools for data insight), text visualization, BigData challenges, and related topics.
